Best Prop Firms for Swing Trading 2026
Swing traders hold positions for days or weeks. That means weekend holding, news trading, and no minimum profit pace requirements. These firms accommodate that.

FTMO
★ 5The most trusted prop firm globally. 11 years of documented payout history, 6 evaluation sizes, and support for 40+ instruments across forex, commodities, indices, and crypto.
FundedNext
★ 5Best profit split in the industry at 90% from day one. Stellar evaluation model with low minimum days, fast payouts, and a large community of funded traders.
E8 Markets
★ 4.8Best for swing traders — no minimum trading days, no consistency rule, and full news trading and weekend holding. Trailing drawdown requires attention.
The5ers
★ 4.7Fifty percent feels low next to FundedNext's 90 — until you realize The5ers actually gets you to 100% over time, not just on a slide deck.
Funding Pips
★ 4.6Funding Pips built a following among traders who got tired of FTMO's stricter rule book — and the weekend-and-news flexibility shows why.
Apex Trader Funding
★ 4.6Twenty simultaneous funded accounts. No one else on this list gets remotely close to that number.
My Funded Futures
★ 4.516,000-plus reviews at 4.9 stars. That's not a number a firm fakes its way into.
Funded Trading Plus
★ 4.5Funded Trading Plus is the only major forex prop firm where the profit split genuinely reaches 100% — hit 30% cumulative profit and every dollar after that is yours, backed by a real four-and-a-half-year track record and $19.5M+ in verified payouts.
Topstep
★ 4.5Topstep has been doing this since 2012. In futures prop, that makes it the elder statesman by a wide margin.
City Traders Imperium
★ 4.4Established in 2018 with genuine one-on-one mentorship from a co-founder, City Traders Imperium offers splits up to 100% and a real 4.3-4.5 Trustpilot rating from over 1,100 reviews — one of the more credible names in this batch.
Fintokei
★ 4.3Broker-backed by Purple Trading with a genuine 4.8 Trustpilot rating and $20M+ paid out, Fintokei's SwiftTrader plan offers a real 100% profit split from day one — a rare, verifiable claim in an industry full of exaggerated ones.
Take Profit Trader
★ 4.3No single flashy feature here. Just daily payouts, sensible rules, and years without a major red flag.
Blue Guardian
★ 4.3Miss your own payout guarantee, and your trader's split jumps to 100%. That's a strange incentive to build into your own pricing — and it's clever.
DNA Funded
★ 4.3DNA Funded backs its prices with a regulated broker behind it — rare in this space, and worth something on its own.
Tradeify
★ 4.2Tradeify built its entire pitch around one specific complaint: the consistency rule that gets profitable traders denied elsewhere.
Alpha Capital Group
★ 4.2Alpha Capital Group doesn't lead the pack on any single number, but a consistent 4.4-star rating across multiple sites says something too.
Trade The Pool
★ 4.2One of the only prop firms funding real US stocks and ETFs instead of forex or CFDs — run by the team behind The5ers, with genuine Interactive Brokers execution, though the 70% split trails what forex-focused firms typically offer.
Instant Funding
★ 4.1UK-based and partnered with regulated broker ThinkMarkets, Instant Funding has a real four-year track record ($18.7M+ paid since 2023) and skips the evaluation entirely — you trade funded from day one.
Lucid Trading
★ 4.1Lucid Trading's whole pitch is straightforward rules. In a category full of complicated fine print, that's a real selling point.
Aqua Funded
★ 4.1Aqua Funded sits in the same $4 million scaling tier as Blue Guardian and The5ers, just without a standout feature of its own yet.
The Weekend Holding Requirement Is Non-Negotiable
Swing trading inherently involves holding positions over the weekend. Any firm that requires positions closed by Friday end-of-session — including FTMO — eliminates a large portion of swing trading opportunities. The first filter for any swing trader evaluating prop firms is weekend holding: permitted or not. No other factor matters until that one is confirmed.
Minimum Trading Days
A swing trader might legitimately take one trade in a week and hold it for five days. Firms with a 10+ minimum trading days requirement force artificial activity that doesn’t suit a low-frequency, high-conviction approach. Look for firms with no minimum days or a low threshold (4 days or fewer).
Drawdown Type
Static drawdown is substantially better for swing traders than trailing drawdown. A swing position that moves against you temporarily before recovering will eat into a trailing floor permanently — even if the trade ultimately closes profitable. Static drawdown doesn’t penalise temporary adverse movement, which matches the natural volatility of multi-day holds.
Overnight and Weekend Risk
Some firms charge overnight swap fees on positions held through rollover. On a $100K account held over several days, swap costs can be meaningful. Check whether the firm passes through actual swap rates or absorbs them — and factor this into your expected returns.
